Emerge is supported by Creative Campus Initiative funding.

The Creative Campus Initiative (CCI) is being delivered through the consortium of thirteen universities in the South East in support of the Cultural Olympiad. The institutions will be commissioning new art works, research-based creative responses, critical debate, learning and community projects which take both direct and tangential inspiration from different Olympic and Paralympic sports.

Historical, cultural and socio-political issues raised by the Games will be addressed by leading artists, students and academics alongside new learning materials and workshops with schools and local communities.

Legacy

The Creative Campus Initiative legacy will be an online showcase of artworks and performances where a new generation of artists, performers and creative professionals will respond to the 2012 Games.
